Petersfield Golf Club prides itself on having a welcoming and active Ladies Golf Section with over 70 playing members and a support section to assist ladies taking up the challenge of learning to play golf.
Our Lady Captain and her committee are always on hand to provide help and support and we have a 'Buddy' system for new ladies joining the section where support is tailored to suit each person's individual needs and preferences.
There are lots of opportunities to play golf. Our main competition day is Tuesday morning and we have tee times available on Saturday mornings.
Throughout the season there are opportunities to join in our golfing events such as Lady Captain's Day, Spring and Autumn meetings and our Christmas meal which is always a highlight of the year.
We also support and promote 9-hole competitions for those unable to play 18 holes for whatever reason.
PGC Ladies participate in several County competitions throughout the season such as the Stoneham Cup and Hayling Trophy. Just two of the competitions we enter which cater for a wide range of handicaps.
We also have lots of friendlies(both Ladies and mixed) against other clubs in the area which are a great way to meet other golfers and play their courses.
We are a generous charity donating section and every year the Captains' choose a charity which is actively supported throughout the year.
In November we hold a coffee morning with a Christmas fair. This is a terrific opportunity to play our course and help raise money for the Captains' charity.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Ladies section.
