At Petersfield we believe we are in the fortunate position, of offering golfers of all abilities, somewhere to play and enjoy their golf.
For the more experienced golfer we have our main 18 hole course just off the A3 in Liss. The course, which opened in 1997, offers a great test of golf whatever your handicap.
Our fully equipped clubhouse means that whether it’s a bacon sandwich before your round, or a pint of beer after your round, we can provide it. Our fully stocked Professional shop means that you can also pick up that extra sleeve of balls before you go out to play!
For those of you with slightly less experience or who may be looking for a shorter course in picturesque surroundings, then South Petersfield, our 12 hole pay and play course on the outskirts of the town centre, will meet your needs.
The course at South Petersfield in Sussex Road opened in 1976 as part of Petersfield Golf Club, and together with the original holes on the Heath formed the main golf course in Petersfield. When the club moved to its new location in 1997 and the Heath reverted back to council land, the golf club used the holes at South Petersfield to create a 12 hole pay and play facility.
The course is ideal for those players who are new to the game as the holes are not too long or too demanding. Set in beautiful Hampshire countryside it is also an enjoyable walk, and because there are only 12 holes, it is not too tiring! There is a small clubhouse which has toilets, changing rooms and a pro shop/snack shop where you can purchase drinks, chocolate bars etc.
